Located in Yosemite Valley, near Half Dome Village (formerly Curry Village), at 4,000 ft (1,200 m) elevation.  The largest campground in Yosemite Valley with 238 sites with space for tents, RVs up to 35 feet, and trailers up to 24 feet; December to mid-February, only the first two loops are normally open (about 50 campsites) Each campsite contains a fire ring, picnic table, and a food locker and is near a bathroom with drinking water and flushing toilets.
